Liberals explode over WH press sec. Sean Spicer thanking people for coming to the March for Life

On Friday, White House press secretary Sean Spicer tweeted from his personal Twitter account that he was thankful for the tens of thousands of people who showed up to Friday's March for Life in Washington D.C.

"Thanks to everyone who came to DC today for #MarchForLife and show their support for life and #Adoption," Spicer tweeted.

But for liberals, Spicer's statement was out of line. They proceeded to take him to task in their replies to his tweet. Many people tried to downplay the magnitude of Friday's march by comparing it to last weekend's Women's March on Washington, which was largely a protest against President Donald Trump, or by arguing that Republicans aren't pro-life because they want to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Friday's March for Life was demonized by the mainstream media as the "anti-abortion" rally, instead of the pro-life march that it was.

However, the media covered last weekend's women's march nearly wall-to-wall and routinely compared the crowds it drew to the crowds of Trump's inauguration just one day prior, despite the fact that pro-life groups were barred from marching with the women.
