Ocasio-Cortez lashes out at Kellyanne Conway after she mocks her 'catfight' with Nancy Pelosi

AOC is not happy with anyone right now

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) lashed out at White House aide Kellyanne Conway after she mocked the freshman congresswoman over her "catfight" with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

Conway mocked the disagreement between four progressive Democrats and Pelosi over far left opposition to a funding bill the House passed with Republicans.

"Those four female Democrats that Nancy Pelosi is brushing back, I think they are all freshman members," said Conway on Fox News.

"A major 'meow moment' — brushing back in a huge catfight, really ridiculing them — and they voted against the Democratic aid package," she added.

Ocasio-Cortez fired back and accused Conway of using a sexist word.

"'Catfight' is the sexist term Republicans use when two adult women happen to disagree with each other," she claimed.

"The reason they find it so novel &exciting is bc the GOP haven't elected enough women themselves to see that it can, in fact, be a normal occurrence in a functioning democracy," she concluded.

She followed up by retweeting another angry tweet from a freshman congresswoman lashing out at Conway.

"Remember that time your boss tore babies from their mothers' arms and threw them in cages?" Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) asked sarcastically.

"Yeah take a seat and keep my name out of your lying mouth," she added.

Pelosi has mocked the more progressive freshman members of Congress for making demands based on their popularity on Twitter.
