1. UN Ambassador Nikki Haley resigns

Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, informed President Trump of her plans to resign at the end of the year.  Trump has said that Haley informed him six months ago that she would need a break at the end of 2018 and has accepted her resignation. Haley cited the toll that six years as governor of South Carolina and two years as U.S. ambassador has taken as part of her reasoning. She added that she was also “a believer in term limits,” saying “I think you have to be selfless enough to know when to step aside.” Get the details here.

2. Glenn’s recent interview with CNN International didn’t end well — for CNN

Glenn went and agreed to an interview with CNN International (We told him not to) last Friday. He said he was hoping for a “decent conversation.” What he got was an obviously orchestrated smear attempt that didn’t end so well — for CNN. Interestingly, the interview is very difficult to find on CNN’s website, or anywhere for that matter. But you can catch the highlights here.
